Soft Clubbing Smokey Eye | Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hello lovelies! Today I decided to do a soft smokey eye, perfect for clubbing but also not very heavy. So let's get started!

First, I'm using a tape on my eyes, because it helps to create a straight and define line. I'm starting with my eyes, because if I apply my foundation and then remove the tape,it will fade of and I'll have to reapply it.

I'm taking the Matte Eyeshadow Palette. I bought this from Ebay. I will leave the links down below if I can find them. So I'm using a mix of the two brownish shades and I'm blending them on my crease with my blending brush (I also bought that from ebay. I'll link this too).

Then, I'm taking the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette and I'm using the shade Snakebite on to my eyelid. And  I'm taking again my blending brush and..... blend blend blend blend!!

I am using again the Mattes Palette and I am taking the first eyeshadow which is a soft beige colour and I am applying this on my inner corner and my brow bone.

After that I'm using the L'oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim in Intense Black and I'm creating a thin line. The tape helps sooo much the ones who find a bit difficult to apply eyeliner (including me). Most of the times I apply it without the tape, but when I'm using eyeshadow I know I can't fix any mistake I may make.

When I am done with my eyeliner,I am taking my black eye pencil which is the Lancôme 'Le crayon khôl' in the shade 01 Noir and I applying this along my upper waterline.

I almost forgot mascara! I'm using my new Maybelline Great Lash Washable mascara. It's the first time I 'm using this mascara, so maybe I'll tell you my impressions in a review soon.

And eyes are done! I'll take a closer shot so you can see better the result.

One of the most important step of your base is primer. Because we want our foundation to last as long as it can, I use my HG MAC Prep+Prime Skin Visage primer, just to make sure that my foundation is all good and will last all day.

Next I'm using the Boirjois Healthy Mix foundation in the shade Light Vanilla. Usually I reach for my MAC Matchmaster, but that one has SPF, so I will have a bad flashback when I'm taking photos (and everyone takes photos when they are going for clubbing! Admit it!!). Also this foundation has a great coverage, but if you have problem areas you should definitely use a concealer. The finish is neither matte nor dewy. I would describe it like semi-matte.

I'm going for a smokey eye today and I want a flawless make up, so I'll also use the Maybelline 'Fit me' concealer in the shade 15 I guess? I haven't seen any shades on there. So I'm using this to cover some blemishes and areas which need extra coverage.

Then I' going to set everything in place with my Rimmel Stay Matte powder, because I like the matte finish.

For my eyebrows I don't want them to be very intense, so I will only use my Maybelline BrowDrama mascara, just to fill them in a little bit and set them in place.

I'm using the Rimmel Natural Bronzer to contour my cheekbones. This bronzer is AMAZING! It's in a very light shade, perfect for my pale skin.

As for blush, I'm using a bit of my Rimmel Lasting Finish in the shade 'Live Pink', because my eyes are quite heavy and I don't want to overdo with my face.

The last step is lipstick of course! I think lipsticks are my favourite products after mascara. I couldn't live without lipsticks! For this makeup look I think I'll use my trusty little MAC lip pencil in the shade Hip'n'happy and my MAC lipstick in shade 'Pink Plaid', which is matte.

And that's the finish look!

So that's it for today beauties! I hope you enjoyed it! If you did and you want to be the first to know when a new post is up, follow me by email. Thank you for reading guys and I will see you very very soon!

Current Favourites | Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hello beauties. I missed the August Favourites so today I thought to do a Current Favourites post. That includes some beauty and non beauty related favourites. So shall we start?

The first product is the Maybelline Baby Lips in the shade Pink Punch. I have been using some of the orher shades in the past and I liked them very much, so I bought more of them. I absolutely love this one. I use it everyday. It's so moisturising and it gives my lips a beautiful shimmery pink colour for the no makeup-makeup days. It also smells amazing. Seriously, when I put it on, I want to eat it. I'm really bad describing things, but this reminds a body wash I had a little while ago, which smelled very fruity.

Next I'm IN LOVE with the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara. Although it' a drugstore product it gives so much length and volume when I apply it on my eyelashes. The wand is kind of flat on the one side and more circular on the other side. I like to use the flat side on the base of my lashes and the circular one on the rest area. The formula is between wet and dry, more on the wet side I think. It also seperates my lashes, but the most important thing I believe it's that it doesn't flake and doesn't make my lashes look clumpy. Also I really like the packaging.. It's very pretty.

Another Maybelline product that I'm been using very frequently the last months is the Brow Drama in the shade Medium Brown. So either I use first an eyebrow pencil to fill my eyebrows and then I use this product to set them in place or use only the brow mascara to fill any gaps as well it makes them look more natural. Although I have to share two complains. The first is the brush. I believe it's too thick for brows which are more thinner. Also the range hasn't a variety of colours and it doesn't matches to some people's brow colour. It' a cheap alternative if you want to define your brows and set them in place. It costs only 7€/7,80$.

Then I've got the Avon Amazonian Treasures face mask with Brazilian Acai and berries from the Planet Spa collection. I bought this months ago but I didn't really used it,because I was stucked on my Korres face masks. But then, about a month ago I decided to give it a go and I really liked it. My first thought was that it smells absolutely amazing and that make me buy all the other products from this range which I will review them soon, so stay tuned for that. These are very good products and I really don't understand why people don't usually buy from these companies. Back to this product, this mask doesn't have any colour, it's clear when you apply it on you face. I usually leave it for 10-15 minutes and then I use a sponge from The Body Shop to remove it. The most amazing part is when you remove it. It leaves your skin so soft and smooth and hydrated.I'm very imressed. I think the Avon Planet Spa collection is a really really good copy of some of The Body Shop products!

Another product I like very much these days is the H&M blusher pink. I didn't even know H&M had a beauty section, until I visited one of their shops. I was quite surprised when I discovered them and I thought I should take some stuff to try them out. It has three different shades which are pink, peach and a coraly one. All these mix together create a very beautiful colour which flatters my skin tone. It cost me only 5.60€/6.30$, so if you want something more affordable this is totally a very good product you should try out.

Next I have the Micellaire makeup wipes. I've been using the Micellaire water for 6 months now and I really like it, so I thought to try the Micellaire makeup wipes. Although I don't like makeup wipes at all, I was very imressed from the result of these ones. They didn't have this oiliness which most of makeup wipes have, they didn't smell and the most important they remove all of my makeup. Another advantage is that they leave my skin very soft and also they don't effect my contact lenses, because most of the time, I remove my makeup hours before I sleep so I'm still wearing my contacts. Totally recommend them!

A perfume I'm absolutely obssesed with, is The Body Shop Madagascan Vanilla Flower. Oh my Gosh!! It's one of my top 3 perfumes ever. It has such a beautiful sweet scent. Some perfumes are sickly sweet but this one has the right amount of sweetness. Personally I like to use it everyday and keep my heavier perfumes for nightime or special occasions.

Last but certainly not least, a none beauty-related stuff I have to show you, are these cereal bars I bought from a girl who made them by herself. They contain oats, honey, cereals, sesame, chocolate and fruits. They are so so tasty and the best thing is that they are 100% healthy and with no preservatives!

So that's it for today! I hope you enjoyed it, If you missed my last post about my everyday summer make up routine I will link it down below.

My everyday summer makeup routine | Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hello guys! I thought I'do an everyday summer makeup routine for you today using all these amazing products in the picture below.

In the morning, I like to keep my makeup very simple, as you will realize. So, at first place I apply some sunscreen to protect my skin. I use the Apivita Suncare face cream with SPF30 and UVA+UVB protection. I love this cream. You'll know I bought it recently,if you read my haul. If you don't, I will link it down below. Since I purchased it I use it all the time. It's amazing.

Then I use the MAC Prep+Prime skin base visage to prime my skin. This primer helped so much my skin and it also makes my foundation last for ever.

As foundation I use the MAC Matchmaster foundation with SPF15 in the shade 1.0. This foundation is my HG. Great coverage, although I don't have any problems with my complexion or with blemishes and stuff and it also has an amazing finish. It's not matte or dewy. It's just have a beautiful luminus finish.

If I have a bad skin day I like to use the Rimmel Wake me up concealer to cover my blemishes and my spots. I absolutely love this concealer. It's so affordable but also has an amazing quality and it covers any imperfections I may have. Alternatively, I use the Avon Ideal Flawless concealer. Super light with very good coverage too. Also very very cheap. I got it for 3€/3.40$.

After that I apply the MAC Pro Longwear concealer a couple of shades darker than my skin to cover my dark circles. Actually, I dropped it and it broked the same day I bought it, so I transfered the product which left in this pot. That's why I don't have the original packaging. I know.. Suuuuper smart! Thank God I saved a lot of the product.

To britghen up my under eye area I use my current favourite MAC Prep+Prime Highlighter. This stuff,oh my Gosh. It's awesome. It makes my skin so bright, especially now that I'm a little bit tanned. I'm obssesed with it. I also apply this on my lids as a primer to be sure that my eyeshadow will stuck and stay there all day long.

Then I use a buffing brush to set everything in place with my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder which is my all time favourite. Actually is my second favourite. My all time favourite is the MAC Studio Fix Powder, which I need to repurchase , because I hit pan!

As for my brows,I tend to use at first, the Elixir Make-up Eyebrow pencil in the shade 202 and then I set them in place, with the Maybeline Browdrama in Medium Brown.

I'm not using eyeshadow every single day but when I do I like to use 'Marzipan', which is a shade from my Too Faced Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette. I usually go for some shimmery pink or peachy colours because I don't really like heavy eye looks in the morning. I also apply a shimmery white colour in the inner corner of my eyes.

My next step is to use lots and lots of mascara. Mascara is my absolute favourite part of my make up process. I think it changes your look so much. Sometimes I feel like an alien without mascara. So I use the Avon Winged out mascara. Super cheap mascara with amazing results.

It's time for bronzer! Oh God. I remember those times, when I was younger and I wore only foundation and mascara and that was it. I didn't even know what bronzer was or how to define my face. I use the Benefit Hoola Bronzer on my cheeks and my temples, where sun would naturally bronze my skin.

For blush,I usually reach for my MAC Crisp Whites blush (which unfortunately is a limited edition ), but if you want a more affordable one, I really like the Tony Moly in the shade '02' . Both of them are so beautiful.

And last but not least,it's  lipstick time! I like to match my liptick with my blush, so if I'm wearing the MAC peachy blush I will use the Seventeen Lipstick in the shade ' ', which is a beautiful coral peachy shade. Or if I'm wearing the Tony Moly one, which is pinky with some shimmer on it I will chose a bright pink fuchsia shade such as The Bodyshop Colourcrush in the shade '205' (My expressions in these pictures are remarkable).

And this is the finish look. I hope you enjoyed it and I would absolutely love to see your recreations. If you do recreate the look use the hashtag  #ariana'sbeautycorner on instagram!
