My favorite brushes | Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hello everyone! Today I decided to write about my favourite brushes at the moment. The last months I have been trying a variety of different brushes for foundation, powder ect. ,so I thought to write a post to tell you about whice of them I like the most and recommend. So let's get started, because I think this is going to take an enternity.

Foundation Brush

When I first started using foundation I had no idea how to do it. I was using my fingers to apply and blend it all over my face. Then I bought the classic foundation paint brush from Avon, but it made no difference. After all, I thought that I should invest in a good brush that it will really help me. So, after I read some reviews I got the Real Techniques stippling brush. Some people in reviews use this brush for blush and some others use it for foundation, saying that they prefer to use it this way. I decided to give it a go and I bought it from  www.feelunique.com  for 15€/17$. I'm OBSESSED with this brush, it's my favorite and I believe it will be FOREVER. It's a multifunctional brush, that you can use it for
foundation, blush, powder or ever concealer.
It gives a flawless result without streaks. It's my
HG brush.

This brush isn't so expencive, but if you're looking for something more affordable, then you should turn on the Jessup Flat Face brush from ebay. It's super economical. I bought the set of 5 pieces they've got, but if you buy it itself it cost 3€/3.70$. It's not so good as the Real Techniques one, but it does the job.

Concealer Brush

For concealer I usually use the MAC 188 brush.  It doesn't leave streaks at all, unless you apply multiple layers. But I don't think anyone does this with concealer. The only thing you will get is a bad creasing after some hours. Most people use it for foundation, but I think is too small for this job. While I was reading reviews about it, some people said that they had problems about the cleaning part. I didn't have any of these problems. I wash it with the MAC brush cleaner or a hair shampoo with moroccan argan oil. This brush is very expensive, I got it for 37€/40$. If you don't really need it don't spend so much money on it. You can find much cheaper brushes which do the same work.

One of them is the Kiko Milano double brush. The one side is for eyeshadow, but I like to use it for concealer and the other side I use it for lip balms or if I want to highlight my lips with a different lipstick than the one I'm wearing. So this brush has a very good quality and it's one of my favorites. I got it from Kiko when I went to Venice, for 5€/5.50$. It was on sale, but the original price is around 10€/10.90$.

If you want to go for a lot cheaper you can check again the Jessup Flat Angled brush from ebay. A lot of people who have dark circles have also a darkness in the inner corner of their eye.The angle it has, help you to blend the concealer also in the inner corner very easily.

Powder Brush

For powder again Real Techniques is going to take the prize. The best brush I think is the Buffing brush. It takes the right amount of the product and it sets your make up perfectly without ruin it. With this brush you can just add a little bit of powder οn your face and you are ready to go. It's very thick but also very soft.  I got it from ebay for 17€/18.40$.

Another brush which is very economical but it does great job is the Avon powder brush. It has very thin bristles and helps especially when you are in a rush, you can just dust a little bit οn your face and that's all. It costs about 6€/6.50$.

Blush Brush

Although I have tried many different blush brushes my favorite is the Oriflame blush brush. Blush brush? Omg. What a tongue twister. Anyway, this brush it has the perfect shape for blush or bronzer because it's thin and matches amazing with my face. It's made from natural hair and the first time I used it stank but thankfully after 2 or 3 washes, the smell stopped. I got it for 9€/9.80$.

Eyeshadow Brush

For eyeshadows my most necessary brushes are 3. The first one is the Real Techniques Base Shadow brush (10€/10.90$) which is perfect to blend eyeshadow over the eyelid. Then I also use a cheap blending brush from ebay (2€/2.50$) if I want to add another colour. In the end, I use the Jessup Tapered Eye brush (2€/2.50$) on the crease of my eyes for more definition on my eye look.

So these are my favorite brushes. I hope I helped you. If you have any question please do not hesitate to ask me. I will be really glad to help you.

10 lipsticks for 10 days-Part 10 | Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hello my beautiful friends! How are you doing? Today for the end of the ''10 lipsticks for 10 days'' posts, I decided to wear a special lipstick that I love. It's the Chanel lipstick in the shade '60 triomp'.

It's one of my favourite lipsticks EVER. It's a dark coral, neither matte nor a shimmery one, just with a beautiful glow. A very good highend product with nice quality. It's very moisturising and it makes my lips soft and smooth. Moreover it has a gorgeous floral scent which I'm in love with. On the other hand, it doesn't last on my lips at all and I need to reapply it within an hour, which is a big
disadvantage.  The packaging is very simple but chic and elegant. It's total black with a gold detail in the middle of it. I got it for 32€/34.60$ from a store called 'La gardenia' in Rome.

So I hope you liked these mini posts I did these days and you enjoyed them. I would love to know what you want to see next. If you'd like follow me on Twitter and Instagram. I'll leave my links below! ♡

10 lipsticks for 10 days-Part 9 | Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hello beauties! Today I wanted to change a little bit from the classic nude lipsticks and I chose a red one. So I went for the Avon Color Trend lipstick in the shade 'Rich Ruby'.

As you can see, it's a bright red lipstick, which it's not as shimmery as it looks in the picture. It's neither a creamy nor moisturising lipstick, but it doesn't dry out my lips.Although is one of my favourite lipsticks, it lasts only 3-4 hours, so I need  to combine it with a similar lip pencil (I usually go for the MAC Kiss Me Quick lip pencil) . I wore a total black outfit to emphasize the colour of it.
The packaging is very simple, total white whith a clear section so you can see the real colour of the lipstick. I don't really like it, but who cares!? The product itself is really good, so I don't mind. I got it for 2€/2.20$. It was super affordable, but as I said on a previous post the price depends from the company's policy of its country.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it! I'll see you tomorrow. Kisses ♡

10 lipsticks for 10 days-Part 8 | Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hello lovely people! As you have already understand, I'm pretty obssesed with the nude/pink lipsticks. So today I remained on these shades and I chose my Essence lipstick in the shade ' 13 Love me' .

This lipstick has a beautiful coral/pink colour, absolutely perfect for spring time. Not 100% matte, but with a little shimmers in it. It's one of the most creamy and moisturising lipsticks I have ever ever tried. Seriously, it makes my lips so soft and smooth, that I can tell no difference between this lipstick and a lipbaml. You can say that it's a longlasting lipstick. On my lips lasts for 8-10 hours, which is pretty impressing. I don't remember the price of it but it was super affordable and cheap. However this is one of the exceptions of the phrase ''you get what you pay'', because its quality is very very good compared with its price. The packaging is very simple but I like it, nothing to special. Besides that, when the product is as inexpensive as this is, you can't demand for a chic and beautiful packaging.

So that's it for today. I will see you tomorrow with another gorgeous lipstick from my collection. Hope you have a beautiful day and thank you for reading.  Kisses ♡

10 lipsticks for 10 days-Part 7 | Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hello everyone! Today I decided to wear a bright lipstick, so my first thought was The Body Shop Colour Crush lipstick in the shade 205.

It's a bright hot pink lipstick, very moisturising and creamy. The first time I applied it, I was very
impressed of how smooth and blendable it was. It has enough shimmery in it to give you a beautiful glow which will remain about 100 years on your lips because it is very longwear. However many people have said thats it's a bit of trouble to remove it from your lips but if you have read my previous posts you'll know that I use the Garnier Micellaire water and it's not an issue for me afterall. Although The Body Shop isn't considered as a highend brand the packaging is really pretty and different from other lipstick's packagings which are plane black or silver. I purchased this from my local Body Shop store and it costs 13.50€/15.40$ which I think it's a very nice and affordable price for such a good quality lipstick. I totally recommend it!

That was my review for today's lipstick.Hope I helped you and you enjoyed it! I'll see you soon with another lipstick review.

10 lipsticks for 10 days-Part 6 | Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hello gorgeous people! These days in my town the weather is much warmer and sunnier than the previous days.So I decided to talk to you about the lipstick I wore today. It's an Oriflame lipstick from the Pure Colour Collection in the shade blush pink.

It's a beautiful pink/coral shade with a little shine in it which matches with my corally nail polish I wear. It's very creamy and blendable. However it's definitely not a longlasting lipstick. When I applied it was kind of sheer but it's buildable. I also have another lipstick from the same collection, although it's not as buildable as this one and it's super sheer, very shimmery and pale. Maybe I will write a review about it in the future. Most people think that the packaging is awful but in my opinion it's very simple and handy. Afterall you get what you pay and for the amount of money that it costs it's a very good product. It's very affortable,I got it on sale for about 2€/2.20$!

That's it for today! I hope you enjoyed my blogpost and I'll see you tomorrow with another mini blogpost.

10 lipsticks for 10 days-Part 5 | Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hello beauties. Although I start getting bored of the rainy weather in my city, which definitely doesn't reminds me of spring, I will never get bored of dark lipsticks. So I prefer to wear an Avon lipstick from the LUXE collection in the shade 'Joie'.

As you can see in the pictures it has a gorgeous dark fuschia purple colour, so different from the classic ones and so special. It's very moisturising and blendable, but still lasts forever in my lips. Seriously, forever, I'm not joking. I applied it in the morning and till the afternoon it was still there

untouched. It is also very smooth and creamy. The packaging is so so so chic, I love it so much. I think is by far the best of all Avon lipstick's packaging. There is no doubt that this lipstick is my HG for winter time. It costs around 5€/5.30$. However, the price I think it depends from the company's policy of its country.

So I'm going to wrapp it up. I hope I helped you and I will see you very very soon!

10 lipsticks for 10 days-Part 4 | Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hello beauties! I was clearing up my lipsticks, when I found a liquid lipstick from Too Faced. Of course I'm talking about the famous Too Faced Melted longwear lipstick in the shade 'Melted Peony'.

This one I got it with the Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette from Sephora 2 months ago, so I don't know exactly its price, but I think it costs around 20€/21$ . It's a pink colour, perfect for spring and summer. It's very very shimmery, so if you are a matte lover you should probably stay away from this. In the morning when I wore it I had chapped lips, but till the evening my lips were so much
better, it's very moisturising.  The applicator it's different from the traditional ones, which I personaly hate  and I applied it very easily. I like so much the packaging, I think it's super cute. Most people in reviews said that it's very long lasting, however after 2-3 hours I needed to reapply it. But still it is a longwear lipstick.

So that is it for today. I hope you enjoyed it and I will see you very very soon!

Don't forget to check out my last blog about the Seventeen lipstick from matte collection. I will linked down below.

10 lipsticks for 10 days-Part 3 | Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hello my beautiful friends! It's time for the third lipstick, which is a very good choice for the spring time. It's a Seventeen one from the matte collection in the shade 20.

I adore this colour, because it's a mixture of coral, red and pink. Actually, it's a new purchase and it was the first time I used it, but I'm pretty impressed for its quality and lasting. I haven't use this brand's lipsticks so far, so this is also a mini review. It's not super moisturising on my lips, but it doesn't make them dry either. The best about this lipstick is that it has SPF 15 and it contains jojoba and mango oils. However, I don't like this silver packaging. I think it's cheap for this lipstick. I got it for 10€/11$ from a beauty store we have in Greece. I don't know if this brand is available in other countries, so I will link down below their site.

Don't forget to check out my last post about my favorite MAC lipstick. I will link it down below. Have a nice day beauties.

10 lipsticks for 10 days-Part 2 | Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hello my beautiful friends! I'm here again to show you my lipstick choice for today. The weather was kind of rainy these days, so I decided to go for a more nude pink lipstick, just to remind me that spring is coming.

I wore a MAC lipstick in the shade 'Please me', combined it with a MAC lip pencil in the shade 'Hip'n'happy'. I have spoken for this lipstick a million times, but it's my favorite lipstick since I purchase it. It's matte, although it doesn't dry my lips. I could tell that it is moisturising actually. On my lips it doesn't last for so long, but that's the reason I used the lip pencil. These shades I think suits more to pale skin tones, like me and emphasize the whole complexion. I adore the packaging of MAC lipsticks, I think it's so glamorous. I got it for 19€/20.10$. It's quite pricey, but I believe it's worth the hype, so if you can afford it you should definitely try it!

Don't forget to check out my last post, which will be linked down below. Have a nice day and I will see you tomorrow.

10 lipsticks for 10 days-Part 1 | Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hello my beautiful friends! I decided to upload a mini post for the next 10 days about the lipsticks I'm going to wear. So, today I chose to wear a L'Oreal Paris Color Riche in the shade Laetitia's pure red, which I borrow it from my best friend. The reason for this was the rainy and cold weather, which reminded me of winter.

This lipstick is in a gorgeous burgundy shade, which I prefer for the colder months. It's really pigmented and has a matte finish, but it doesn't dry my lips out, as other matte lipsticks tend to do. I like it also because it's longwear and it lasts all day on my lips. Literally all day, even though I eat or drink. Furthermore, I find admirable that this particular shade matches and compliments most skin tones. On the other hand, the packaging is sleek but chic. I forgot to mention that the smell of it it's amazing. Seriously. I borrowed this lipstick, but I think its price is about 15€/16.20$.
If you can afford it, I fully recommend it!

So that was for today. I'm going to wrap it up and I will see you tomorrow with another lipstick post!
